The Knight “Fingertip Control” system uses a new multiplex control to greatly simplify the operation of the sprayer.

Using a simple touch panel with only four press buttons the operator can select the full range of operating conditions. The panel is duplicated to allow operation from the filling station or from the cab.

Fingertip Control System The ability to work all the sprayers features from within the cab greatly simplifies the washing down procedure by allowing the operator to incorporate clean water, rinse out the tank and spray out the washings without leaving his seat. The Knight LASER system is also incorporated, allowing the spray lines to be rinsed when required.

Apart from the obvious simplicity of operation, the automatic control system also avoids the problem of selecting the correct configuration for spraying. When the spray is turned on, it automatically resets the control into spray mode. Touch Pannel

Joystic Control Another innovative feature of the “Fingertip Control” is a four button joystick which operates up to 9 boom sections and the hydraulic boom height and tilt system. This integrates completely with the conventional control layout, allowing the operator to mix the way he uses the system to suit any situation.

If you think this all sounds simple to work but complicated to maintain, we should explain that because this system uses multiplexing, which sends many signals down one wire, we have been able to significantly reduce the wiring.
