Chemical Injection System

Do you spend too much valuable spraying time changing from one chemical to the next? Chemical injection could hold the key to increasing your sprayers output.

With the Knight injection system you can fill the main sprayer tank with clean water or a base chemical mix and then mix and match up to six more chemicals into the spray before it reaches the crop. The key to chemical injection is the speed at which an injected product gets from the tank to every nozzle across the spray boom. Our unique system represents a breakthrough in sprayer design by reducing a typical two minute delay down to a lightning ten second reaction time across the complete sprayer boom.

chrhin.jpg - 19109 BytesThe 'in cab' control system independently regulates the application rate of the main tank and the six pumps. This enables selective application for changes in field condition or cropping. It also means you no longer have to struggle with L.E.R.A.P.
The product containers are available in a number of sizes from 12 to 100 litres and can be fitted with electronic agitation if required.

Precision Farming

The controller can be coupled to a GPS mapping system and therefore is precision farming compatible. Individual chemicals can be automatically switched according to field position, from a pre-defined map loaded into the controller at the start of the job. The usual problem of system delay is greatly reduced by the new Knight, fast response injection system.

Using Powders

Unlike some other injection systems, the Knight system allows you to add chemical to the main sprayer tank. You may chose to run clean water most of the season but if you want to apply large volumes of powdered products, simply incorporate them into the main sprayer tank through our standard induction system. If you have other injectable products that you would like to apply, these can be incorporated through the injection system during spraying in the normal way.

Container washing

This is a problem that will remain with us until we have a sensible reifillable, multi trip container or a bulkchlhinp.jpg - 21335 Bytes chemical handling system. With the Knight system you have two choices. If the washings are compatible with all crops to be sprayed you can simply add to the main sprayer tank. They will then be applied to the cropped area in an extremely dilute form during spraying. If however you have a product that will create a problem if the washings are added to the main tank, simply add them to a spare injection pump and dispose of them by running this pump when you are injecting the original product.

Conclusion

If you want a simple way to spray a number of different products throughout the working day, an injection system might be the answer. Call our sales hotline and check it out (01780 722202)
